THE TOWN OF Palatine Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee will hold a public meeting August, 8th, 2018 at 7pm at the Town Hall located at 141 W. Grand Street, Palatine Bridge. The meeting is to hear input by way of a SWOT Analysis from any town resident 18 years and older.

TOWN OF SUMMIT: Free Summer Events in Summit. July 28. Whispering Willow Wild Care program will focus on the corvid family which will include a Common Raven, American Crow and a Fish Crow. This program is to help foster awareness, enhance respect and promote personal responsibility for the natural world. Saturday events start at 1:00 - 2:00 PM. Events are free, for all ages and are held indoors at the SDA Community Pavilion, located at 2861 Rte 10, Summit, in the upper parking lot. Parking and seating is also available there. Wheelchair accessible. . Summit's Summer events are held every Saturday July throughout August rain or shine. THE BUTCHER, THE BAKER, The Candlestick Maker and more will be featured at our second annual Heritage Craft Show! July 28, Saturday, from 9-4 our heritage crafters will once again show and sell their wares on the lawn of Lasell Hall, 268 Main Street, Schoharie. The theme reflects the necessaries that the colonists had to produce daily to sustain life in the eighteenth century. You'll find broom maker, the blacksmith, the tin maker, the candle maker, the bee keepers, the silversmith, the potter, the weavers and spinners, the quilters, the decoy carver, the herbalist, the folk artist and more. We still have room for more crafters. Call 518-231-7241 for more details. A picnic lunch of hamburgers, hot dogs, sausage, peppers and onions and homemade salads will be served. For dessert there will be Schoharie Valley Strawberries and ice cream. Seating outside and inside will be provided for show goers. The event is sponsored by Schoharie Colonial Heritage, the Schoharie Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Friends of Lasell Hall.
