The Otsego County Solid Waste Department would like to invite everyone to 21st Earth Festival event which will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 9th, at SUNY Oneonta, Chase Auditorium. Earth Festival is an environmentally focused, interactive event featuring exhibits, workshops, vendors, food and entertainment, all with an earth-friendly twist. The event host OCCA will be collecting Textiles, Styrofoam, Cork, Coffee Pods, VHS, CD's Cassette Tapes, Christmas lights, Ink and Toner Cartridges, Oral Care-oral care waste: toothbrushes, floss containers & toothpaste tubes for recycling as well a paper shredding space for all attendees. Otsego County will be there promoting recycling and waste diversion practices that the county has developed over the years for residents.
