ODY 'Relative Harmony' to perform in VH
Three descendants of Owen D. Young will perform jazz, country, blues & folk music on Saturday, Nov. 22, at 7 PM at the Millpond Community Center on Route 80 in Van Hornesville. The concert is free, but donations for upkeep of the historic community center are welcome. The trio, performing as 'Relative Harmony,' includes Charlie Young on guitar, Peter Young on bass, and Suzannah Young Ciernia on percussion and vocals. Come make a Christmas wreath! Saturday, December 6th 9am-1pm, renowned local willow basketmaker, Bonnie Gale will teach a free willow wreath workshop at the South New Berlin Library. Participants will be weaving and embellishing their own willow wreath. This all-occasion wreath can be reused from one celebration to the next! Registration is required. Space is limited. Project is funded by Earlville Opera House's Arts in the Community Grants Program, made possible by the NYS Legislature with support of the Office of the Governor, and administered by the NYS Council on the Arts.
